Built on Real-World Experience

Not theory. Not hype. Just proven methods for energy transformation.

How We Started

Penny Forecast emerged from a simple frustration: watching Australian businesses overpay for energy while being sold cookie-cutter solutions that ignored local climate realities.

Our founders spent years in industrial energy management before realizing the consulting industry was fundamentally broken. Too much reliance on generic playbooks. Not enough attention to what actually works in Brisbane heat or Melbourne winters.

So we built something different—a firm that starts with your actual data, your actual property, your actual constraints.

What Drives Our Decisions

Measurement over assumptions: We audit before we recommend. If we don't have data, we don't guess.

Local conditions matter: Solutions that work in Germany don't automatically work in Cairns. We engineer for Australian extremes.

ROI must be real: We won't sell you technology that takes 15 years to break even. Your investment should make financial sense within a reasonable timeframe.

Ongoing support isn't optional: Installation is just the beginning. Systems degrade, regulations change, and markets shift. We stay involved.

Who You'll Work With

Energy Engineers

Calculate load requirements, system capacity, and integration points. They make sure the technology actually fits your infrastructure.

Financial Analysts

Model payback periods, financing options, and cash flow impact. They ensure the numbers work before you commit.

Project Coordinators

Manage installations, handle permits, and keep timelines on track. They're your single point of contact throughout implementation.

Monitoring Specialists

Track ongoing performance and catch issues early. They keep systems running at peak efficiency year after year.

Results We've Delivered

Over the past five years, our clients have collectively reduced carbon emissions by 12,400 tonnes while cutting energy costs by an average of 38%.

We've installed 847 kW of solar capacity across commercial properties in three states, integrated 23 battery storage systems, and helped nine organizations reach net-zero status ahead of their target dates.

More importantly, every system we've deployed is still operating above manufacturer specifications—because we design for longevity, not just installation completion.
